Simple question, what is the best and quickest program to create a photo montage? im not looking for anything complicated it needs to be something auto and speedy!

I would like to create a post mortem video montage. I want to thank all the people that helped and loved me all my life long for their generosity and good support. I want to leave them a good souvenir of me by recalling certains life events. I want them to feel good after all. Also to telle them that life must continue without me. I just want to be in their thoughts for whatever long it may be. This video with music and photos/video films would be played at my funerals. Any suggestions to include in it ?
What do you think ? One day you will be 70 years old just like me and you may want to do the same thing !

OK so I have to design graphics for my ICT coursework (OCR Level 2 in ICT, Unit 3). I have created a logo, a photo montage and a map. I now need to show I have considered the file type and resolution of the graphics I created. What does it mean by resolution, I only used the default resolution in Adobe Fireworks, do I have to change it depending on what I made e.g. a higher resolution for map etc…
What are the best file formats for each of the graphics. JPEG, BMP, PNG…?
Also the graphics are supposed to go in a brochure if that helps, well that’s the scenario of my coursework, I have to design 3 graphics to go in a brochure which will be sent to customers.
Please answer even if it only answers some of my questions.

BMP is one of the earliest formats. It doesn’t support transparencies and is uncompressed, so file sizes are relatively huge. It’s OK for small images like icons, etc.
JPG or JPEG is one of the most commonly used formats. It doesn’t support transparencies either, but is a highly compressed format, so it is good for large, high quality images such as photos.
PNG is not compatible with all Windows OS’s, but it supports transparencies and is losslessly compressed, so it is good for computer-generated graphics and for graphics that contain text. Since it is not "lossy" like JPG it is good for photos that require extensive editing, but file sizes will be larger than JPG.

Former Dark Horse Records, General Manager, Dennis Morgan pays tribute to the Victorian baronet, Sir Frankie Crisp who designed the neo-gothic mansion and garden at FriarPark, Henley on Thames (immortalized in the film, ‘Cracker Box Palace’). George penned, the ‘Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp’(Let It Roll) in homage to FriarPark’s history.
Sir Frank had a twisted sense of humor and populated the expansive garden with whimsical architectural quotations on wood and stonework. The film opens with the mocking statuary of a friar holding a punctured skillet engraved,
“Two Holy Friars” (featured in the original artwork of the album, Thirty-Three & 1/3). The baronet is also peering into a microscope (he was a member of the Royal Microscopical Society–UK):

Like my similar video montage of Glasgow, this is a selection of photos taken by me on a days walk through Rutherglen & Cambuslang in Scotland – a very small number of the photos were taken by others & used with permission.
Unlike the Glasgow architectural themed montage, these are mainly of buildings in Rutherglen/Cambuslang that took my fancy, although some are there because of the design styles. Hope you like them, please leave a comment if you do (or don’t).

I’m not sure what kind of features you’re looking for, but I always use Adobe Photoshop to create my montage / collages or to edit digital pictures, etc.
